Do you have a moment when you realized your phone was getting in the way of what's important to you?

Not necessarily, but there was a moment when my family and I were out at dinner, and the table next to us was a group of four friends. Throughout the entire dinner, maybe 45-60 minutes, the party of four were looking down at their phones the ENTIRE time. Right then and there, we decided we wanted to set an example for our kids: sitting down at dinner and socializing is good for the soul and needs to be encouraged in a screen-free, present environment.

Tell us a story about how Aro has impacted your relationship with your family, spouse, kids, etc.

My wife and I are very competitive. When we first got Aro, it became a competition to see who had the most Aro time. The net result? Hours of uninterrupted, screen-free, and present family time.

What is your favorite vacation you have been on and why?

Disney. I have a love/hate relationship with the place, but it brings so much joy to my kids that I can't help but love it!

What is your favorite movie to watch with your family?

Toy Story, of course.

What’s been your favorite part about fatherhood so far?

Having a built-in golf companion that can't say no when I tell them it's time for 9 holes!
